The Young Anglican Theology (YAT) project, in partnership with the Anglican Communion Youth Network, is inviting Anglicans aged 18-40 to share their theological insights on ecology and climate. This exciting initiative provides a platform for young people to engage with theology in creative and meaningful ways.
Submissions can explore topics such as:
- Ecclesiology and Climate Change
- The Fifth Mark of Mission: Treasuring the Earth
- The Effects of Climate Change on the Church
- Liturgy and Creation
Selected contributions will be published on the Young
Anglican Theology website, accompanied by a video interview with the contributor. Contributors will also receive support from the YAT publishing team to develop their work for publication.
Contributions can be submitted through the project website or by email at younganglicantheology@gmail.com.
Fr Thomas Sharp, YAT Project Coordinator, shared:
“We want to connect and encourage young people from around
the Anglican Communion to speak with a powerful theological voice and to contribute to raising up the next generation of Anglican theologians. Whatever sort of Anglican you are, your voice matters.”
The deadline for submissions is 31 January
2025.
Please share this news and encourage the young Anglicans in your community to join this exciting opportunity to shape the future of Anglican theology.
